Ruha is a Sanskrit word that embodies the idea of personal development and reaching higher states of being, growth and ascension. This is the goal of this band and the music. The veteran line up of Jessica Brown(Vocals & Percussion), Zach Flietz(Vocals and Bass), Brian Welch(Vocals and Drums) and Charley Orlando(Vocals and Guitar) takes the music of Ruha to new heights with each performance of their multi genre tunes under the umbrella of Progressive Americana. Each songwriter in the band comes from different backgrounds and approaches that all somehow fit together to bring a fresh sound that can only be heard at a Ruha show! Ruha always brings it w/ the soulful powerhouse vocals of Jessica Brown,  the thumping pulsing bass of Zach Fleitz, the steady groove of Brian Welch, the conscious guitar playing and singing of Charley Orlando, The soulful keys playing of Sam Delfavero and the tasty guitar playing of Jay Lock … It is easy to love this band!
